Patti Hanzes & Ron Mauch Join Lakeside's Staff

It’s a very busy and exciting time at Lakeside Realty! Houses that are priced right are selling fast, and some with multiple offers.  We’re extremely busy and are happy to have a number of new associates to help us effectively handle the volume of buyers and sellers requesting our service.

Lakeside is proud to welcome Ron Mauch and Patti Hanzes to its staff of professional REALTORS®.

Ron Mauch has been a licensed real estate agent since 2005.

He is also employed as a working Director at the EMF Outreach Center operating thrift stores in Austintown at the Wedgewood Plaza as well as in Hubbard at the Independence Square Plaza.

Ron graduated from Youngstown State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  He also served in the military from 1982 to 1988 in the Ohio National Guard Military Police.

Ron resides in the area with his wife, Jo Ann, and two children, Trevor and Ed.

Patti Hanzes, a dedicated full-time real estate agent, resides in Newton Township and is a lifelong resident of the Newton Falls area.

Patti is a member of the National Association of  REALTORS®, Ohio Association of REALTORS®, and the Warren Area Board of REALTORS®.

She represents buyers and sellers in Trumbull, Mahoning and Portage Counties.

Mahoning County Real Estate Market Indicators July 2012

Continued good news for the greater Youngstown area real estate market.

Year-to-date real estate market statistics for Mahoning County show:

  • Pending Sales  +24%
  • Closed Sales  +17.7%
  • Median Sales Price  +5.5%

The only bad news is that inventory is low . . . which means buyers don't have a lot of choices.  Homeowners are still not selling unless they need to . . . for various reasons . . . but mostly because they have less equity in their homes.  However, if you do want to sell your home it's a great time.  Buyers are lining up in certain price ranges and just waiting for the right home to come on the market.

We are experiencing multiple offers on properties that are priced close to market value.

To find out what your home is worth in today's market, Contact Us.  We will provide you with an expert evaluation of your property and recommendations on preparing and staging your home to get the most value from what you own.
